After serving churches as a senior pastor for over two decades, Michael serves as Staff Chaplain and Ombudsman for Compassion International. He is also a member of a church health consulting team where he serves as the church conflict specialist. His PhD is in conflict analysis and resolution. He is the author of a new book entitled: When Church Conflict Happens: A Proven Process for Resolving Unhealthy Disagreements and Embracing Healthy Ones (Moody Publications, 2019). Michael and his wife, Colleen, have four children and six grandchildren and live in Colorado Springs, CO.
