I’m excited. I believe we are in a divine season of ridiculous breakthroughs, a moment where God is opening one door after the next. He is about to do something big, something supernatural. I am not just saying this. I am under the conviction of the Holy Spirit that God is about to do something unusual in your life, something that has never been done before.
Whether you have been believing God for a turnaround in your marriage, a healing in your body, a breakthrough in your finances, a new job opportunity, or your own business, put your faith out there because today is going to be an unusual day. Open your heart and mind to the word the Holy Spirit has in store for you because all you need is one moment from God, and your entire life will change.
David, a young shepherd boy, had one moment when he killed Goliath, and his whole life was changed forever. Joseph had one moment to interpret Pharaoh’s dream, and in one day, he went from being a prisoner to the prime minister of Egypt. Esther had one moment where she stood before the king, and he crowned her queen, and later, she was able to save her people from death. Some of you have been praying for just a moment. All you need is a moment. I believe that time has come upon us.
BUST THE MOVE
In 1 Samuel 14, the Philistine army came against King Saul and Israel with an army as numerous as the sand on the seashore. The Israelite army was no match. They had no weapons, and they hid in caves and holes in fear. Many of them fled until only 600 men remained with King Saul.
But Jonathan, the king’s son, wasn’t afraid. I love Jonathan. He was a man of action, a risktaker. And one day, he told his armorbearer, “Come, and let us go over to the Philistines’ garrison, that is on the other side” (1 Samuel 14:1). “Let us go,” Jonathan said. It’s time to move.
Some of you are saying that you are waiting on God, but God is waiting on you. What are you going to do about your situation? In 2 Kings 7, the Syrian army besieged Samaria and caused a famine so severe, the people were becoming cannibals. During this time, four leprous men dared to enter the enemy’s camp. They took a calculated risk.
“Why sit we here until we die?” they said. So, they got up at twilight, and to their surprise, when they entered the enemy’s camp, no one was there. What happened? At twilight, the very same time, the lepers started moving, God caused the Syrians to hear the sound of a mighty army, and the Syrians fled for their lives. They heard the army of the Lord. God backed up those four lepers. And he will do the same for you. Just take a step of faith.
Stop waiting for some superhero to drop from the sky and save you. God gave you the power to act on your faith. No one is responsible for your miracle except you. God told Joshua, “You shall make your way prosperous, and you will have good success.” You have a part to play, so bust the move.
ONE CONNECTION AND ONE IDEA
So, Jonathan told his armor bearer what he was about to do. He didn’t tell his father who was backslidden. You can’t jump up and tell everybody what God is showing you because some people will choke all your faith out of you. Get around people of “like, precious faith.” “And his armourbearer said unto him, Do all that is in thine heart…” (1 Samuel 14:7).
You don’t need everybody in your corner. King Saul and his 600 men were in the vicinity of a miracle, but they sat around and did nothing. Jonathan had one person and one idea, and they made something happen.
Jonathan told his armorbearer, “Let’s let the enemy see us. If they say, “Stay where you are,” we will not go up to fight. But if they say, “Come up,” we will go up because that will be a sign that the Lord has delivered them into our hands. The idea may sound strange, but God gave Jonathan that idea.
God has given many of you ideas, but a lot of you are arguing with God. “That seems strange. No one has done this before. My idea is too simple.” Some of you have ideas as small as David’s stone, but that is all you need to take down Goliath. I read an article that said every year a person gets four good ideas. And if they just take one idea and do something with it, their idea can break them into financial freedom.
Jonathan acted on his idea, and he and his armorbearer showed themselves to the Philistines. “Come up,” the Philistines sneered, “And we’ll teach you a lesson.” “And Jonathan said unto his armourbearer, Come up after me: for the Lord hath delivered them into the hand of Israel” (1 Samuel 14:12).
Jonathan and his armorbearer struck down twenty men, and then God caused an earthquake to happen. The Philistines were terrified, and they began to flee. When King Saul and the Israelite army saw the Philistines melting away, they joined Jonathan and his armorbearer and won the victory over their enemies. “So, the Lord saved Israel that day,’’ and all because one man took a step of faith and acted on the moment and idea God gave him.
WE HAVE A MOMENT
As many of you know, we have an opportunity to go to Mian Channu, Pakistan on November 4-11 to preach to over 100,000 people. God is going to heal, save, and deliver many people, and we can’t wait to witness and share all the miracles that will take place.
We are so excited and are in the process of raising $60,000. We are asking our partners to stand with us and sow a seed of $1,000, $750, $500, $250, $100, $50, or $20 to help us cover the costs of the meeting.
We will be using 550 buses to bring families to the evangelistic crusade, as well as renting a tent and chairs, lighting and sound equipment, a generator, and more. And we’ll be feeding ushers, bringing in worship singers, arranging team visits, and covering travel expenses.
If you have already given, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. And if you have not yet given towards the meeting, we encourage you to do what you can. God will honor your gift, and many lives will be touched because of your generosity and sacrifice.
When you give, we ask that you specify that your donation is for the Pakistan crusade. Please visit the platform of your choice to give:
