God Will Be Faithful to You!

I want to encourage you not to be moved away from your assignment or calling in life. In the midst of all the negative talk about the economy and the difficulties facing America and the world, we must stay faithful to God. God hasn’t fallen off the throne. He isn’t facing a heavenly economic crisis. He remains the same: faithful, loving and true to His Word.

1 Corinthians 1:9 declares, “God is faithful, by whom you were called unto the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” The Twentieth Century Translation declares, “God will not fail you, and it is He who called you into communion with His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.” Barclay’s Translation declares, “You can rely on God, by whom you were called to share the life of His Son.” The good news is that we can rely on God! His faithfulness is to all generations. Whatever challenge you are facing, if you choose to put your trust in God’s Word, He will be faithful to you!

God never changes. He is the same and always will be! Hebrews 13:8 declares, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” The Stevens Translation declares, “Christ who sustained and strengthened them will equally aid us, and all his followers, now and always.” God’s faithfulness will strengthen and aid you just the same as it has in previous generations. You can count on God. He will be faithful to His Word unto you.

Determine to place all your confidence in Him alone. Place your confidence in His ability to work mightily on your behalf. Believe His Word over circumstances. Believe that He will bless you mightily in the midst of recession, depression or any other “-ession”! Psalm 40:10 declares, “I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I will speak of your faithfulness and salvation.” The DeWitt Translation declares, “Thy righteousness I hide not in my heart, but Thy faithful, saving power I proclaimed.” We should never be ashamed to speak God’s Word to a lost world. But are we bold enough to declare the spoken Word into difficult situations to see them changed? When we speak God’s Word, we are declaring His faithful ability to move on our behalf. We are confirming His faithfulness to His Word.

Have you been speaking the Word or speaking the world’s message? We are commanded to believe and speak His words! 2 Corinthians 5:7, “We walk by faith and not by sight.” The twentieth Century Translation declares, “For we guide our lives by faith, and not by what we see.” The Weymouth Translation declares, “For we guide ourselves by faith and not by external appearances.” Circumstances are not always good. But faith has a voice that declares God’s promises in the face of all odds.. Faith is not moved by the mountain, but moves the mountain.

Begin to confess His Word! Declare what God’s Word says about you and your situation. Refuse to let discouragement get a hold of your thoughts and heart. Stir yourself up by way of pure remembrance! Remind the devil and spiritual forces working against you about God’s faithfulness to you and your family! Speak out the mind of Christ! In 2 Corinthians 4:13, the Knox Translation declares, “I spoke my mind, says the Scripture, with full confidence, we too speak our minds with full confidence.” We are to believe God’s Word and speak boldly His promises. God is faithful to His Word! We love and appreciate you always. Thank you for your loving support!
