As we enter this month, I want to continue to encourage you to stay steady in challenging times. With continued economic and domestic problems in our nation, many are facing a great deal of pressure in life. 2 Corinthians 2:14 declares; “Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of His knowledge by us in every place.” The Message Bible declares; “And I got it, thank God! In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade. Through us, He brings knowledge of Christ. Everywhere we go, people breathe in the exquisite fragrance.” Regardless of any pressures you may be facing at the moment, the Word of God declares we are to march in a perpetual victory parade in Christ. In unstable times, God’s people are to remain triumphant. When we face extreme pressure to abandon the Word of God, we must remain faithful to obey it.
Walking by Faith in the Face of Opposition
Although we are in this world, our citizenship and principles come from another world. 2 Corinthians 5:7 declares; “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” The Message Bible declares; “It’s what we trust in, but don’t see, that keeps us going.” When adversity and the pressures of life mount against us, we must let the Word continue to define our actions and keep us going on the right track. The Word defines and encourages us to view all circumstances in light of the greatness of God’s faithfulness and ability. He will always sustain and carry us through safely. The Word is the anchor for our souls and keeps us moving counter culture with this world’s system and problems. We never define our circumstances by how things appear in the natural, but by the promises of God and His amazing ability. Ephesians 3:20 declares; “now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh within us.” The New Century Translation declares; “With God’s power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or imagine.” It’s comforting and reassuring that His ability in us causes us to defy and overcome the limitations and opposition of this life. He is able when we are not.
Persistent Unwavering Faith Wins
Persistent unwavering faith is a must in difficult times. We have to endure. We have to stand. We have to fight for those things the Word of God promises us. It is not time to waver but win. James 1:1-4 (Message Bible) declares; “Consider it a sheer gift, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.” Tests and challenges are apart of life but our faith filled life directs and forces us to move through open doors that otherwise would be closed to us. Persistent unwavering faith wins. Determine now to stay in the Word. Believe the Word. Confess the Word. Expect the God of the Word to back and do what He declares.
Be a Fighter and Never Quit
Make wise choices right now to never quit. Determine to never quit. Determine to never give up. Be a fighter for what you know God has promised you. You will make it. God will be faithful 1 Timothy 6:12 says; “Run hard and fast in the faith. Seize the eternal life you are called to, the life you so fervently embrace in the presence of so many witnesses.” Be a fighter. Run hard and fast in faith’s lane and win.
Thank you for your faithful friendship and love to our lives and ministry. We sure love and appreciate you greatly.
