It is God alone who makes this nation great. When we as a people humble ourselves, pray and turn from our wicked ways, placing God and His Word first, our nation will be exalted.
George Washington, our Founding Father once said, “It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible,” Proverbs 14:34 declares, “Righteousness exalted a nations: but sin is a reproach to my people.” The Basic American Standard translation declares, “By righteousness a nation sis LIFTED UP, but sin is a cause of shame to people.” The Moffatts translation declares, “INTEGRITY EXALTS a nation: evil brings any people low.”Washington went on to declare, “You do well to wish a nation to learn arts and the way of life, and above all, the religion of Jesus Christ… Congress will do everything they can to assist you in this wise intention.” It is evident from history that many of our Founding Fathers believed in the absolute truth of God’s Word.
The choice we make in this next election should not be based on economic challenges alone, but rather the principles of God’s Word that have always made this nation great. Every step we take away from God and His principles, is a step away from success and His guidance,. Woodrow Wilson once said, “The Bible… is the supreme source of revelation of the meaning of life, the nature of God and spiritual nature and need of men. It is the guide of life which really leads the spirit in the way of peace and salvation.” John Quincy Adams once said, “The first and almost the only book deserving of universal attention is the Bible.”
It is the obligation of all God fearing men and women to not only live for God, but to vote in light of the truth. Benjamin Franklin declared, “History will also afford frequent opportunities of showing the necessity of a public religion… and the excellency of the Christian religion above all others, ancient or modern.” James McHenry, signer of the Constitution, once said. “Bibles are strong entrenchments. Where they abound, men cannot pursue wicked courses.”We must use our vote to lift the standard of righteousness that will in turn exalt our nation. Let’s not forget the old expression: “Bad things happen when good people do nothing.”
No matter what the result of this election , we must put God first. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus declared, “But SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD, and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and all these things shall be added unto you.”The Goodspeed translation declares, “But you must make his kingdom and uprightness before him, your greatest care.” The Becks translation declares, “First be eager to have God as your king…”. The message Bible declares, “Give YOUR ENTIRE ATTENTION TO WHAT GOD is doing right now, and DON’T GET WORKED UP ABOUT WHAT MAY OR MAY NOT HAPPEN TOMORROW. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.”
We want to thank you so very much for your love, prayers and gracious support to this ministry. We are overwhelmed by those who have given us words of encouragement and testimonies of great victories in their Christian walk as a result of the Word of God at work in their lives. We want to encourage you to never let loose of the dreams that God has placed within your heart for you and your family. We know the best is yet to come as you continue to put God first in every area of your lives. We love and believe in you in Christ Jesus!
