Saved People Save People

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” – John 1:14 NKJ

Have you come to the conclusion that its only people that have accepted Jesus as Lord, that are used by God to save the unsaved? Have you ever thought that it was God Himself that designed salvation to operate in this manner? Seems like we continue to look for miraculous occurrences in large buildings or on social media to elicit the salvation of the world, but the Word says that “We who are saved,” are the system that saves the world. One-on-one!

Saved people give generously. Have you ever thought that its only saved people that give? God designed His system of giving intentionally to support the Kingdom of God in this manner. The deep appreciation of your salvation is what compels you to give sacrificially or not.

Saved people care about the church because it’s the bride of Christ. Saved people serve in whatever capacity is needed not be a religious tool or to check their boxes, but because of the extreme gratitude they hold for being saved from Hell and saved to Heaven by Christ Jesus! Jesus loves The Church, I love Jesus, so I love His church, get it?

God uses His people, saved people to win the world! It’s His decision to do this. He also gives His people, saved people, committed people extraordinary power that is used to do the miraculous like healing of the sick. I’d like you to read Acts chapter 3 and 4 today in your bible. You will see that miracles are used by God to shut the mouth of the Devil and cause men to believe God unto salvation. There are several instances and explanations of this truth in only these two short chapters.

Conclusion, you as a believer have been given the power to perform miracles in the name of Jesus for the purpose of salvation of those around you. When you pray for the sick and they are healed, many will be saved as you connect the dots for them. So here is the question, are you saved? If so, when was the last time you prayed for God to send someone across your path so you could lay hands on them and they would be healed? When did you last actually pray for the sick outside of a church service? Hint, COVID-19 is a sickness, a disease. Jesus defeated ALL disease.

Acts 3:7 – “Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened. 8 He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk!  9 All the people saw him walking and heard him praising God.10 When they realized he was the lame beggar they were absolutely astounded.”

Acts 4:12 – “There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” 13 The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus. 14 But since they could see the man who had been healed standing right there among them, there was nothing the council could say.”

Miracles shut the mouth of the Devil!! Give God a chance to save people. Start praying for people to receive miracles, and then connect the dots for them about salvation.

Acts 4:29 And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word.30 Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus. 31 After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness. 32 All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had. 33 The apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God’s great blessing was upon them all.34 There were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them 35 and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need.”

It all begins with men taking responsibility and taking their rightful place. After pastoring PowerHouse Katy for 20 years and planting churches around the globe, G.F. has stepped into the role of an apostolic leader and coach through his organization The Genesis Team.
