As we enter the month of November, it has never been more critical that you have a voice in this nation and stand up for what is right and let your voice be made known. with the presidential election here and the continued turmoil and divide in our nation and world, believers must not water down the message, nor be ashamed to make their voice heard. Proverbs 14:34 declares, “Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” The Living Bible declares, “Godliness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any person.” The Message bible declares, “God-devotion makes a country strong; God-avoidance leaves people weak.” Your voice counts and can make a difference in influencing others back to God and biblical principles.
The Culture that Calls Good Evil and Evil Good
We are living in a time people are having a difficult time discerning good and evil. Isaiah 5:20 declares, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.” The Message Bible declares, “Doom to you who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness in the place of light and who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Doom to you who think you’re so smart, who hold such high opinions of yourselves.” The fact is, right is still right and wrong is still wrong based on the Word of God. When men and women depart from the truth of God’s Word, they then create their own reality that is tainted by darkness and compromise. Have we departed from the faith to embrace doctrines and values influenced by dark spiritual forces at work in the land? 1 Timothy 4:1 declares, “Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” The Message bible declares, “The Spirit makes it clear that as time goes on, some are going to give up on the faith and chase after demonic illusions put forth by professional liars. These liars have lied so well for so long that they have lost their capacity for truth.”
We are the Light of the World
People that know the truth must declare and stand up for what is right. The old saying, “Bad things happen when good people do nothing, ” still rings true today. You have to let your voice be made known. In Matthew 5:14-16, Jesus declared, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candle stick; and it gives light to all that are in the house. let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.” God has you in this world to make a difference. Let your light shine. Let your voice speak! Let the world see Jesus in your good works and compassion.
Not Ashamed of the Gospel
Determine to stand up and be spoken for by God. We are instruments of God’s power. Many are afraid to stand up and say the truth for fear of being politically incorrect. Romans 1:16 declares, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” The Knox’s translation declares, “For I am not ashamed of this gospel. It is an instrument of God’s power, that brings salvation to all who believe in it, Jew first and then Greek.”
Thank you for your love in Christ.
We believe in and appreciate you greatly.
